hey everybody! today was such a great day in the city. i probably enjoyed today most of all because i love love love drawing organic shapes and objects as opposed to architecture. not sure why but i just do! the park by the river was so pretty minus the naked man, and the pizza was awesomeee... also, the botanical gardens were so beautiful. i hope my backyard looks like that someday. my drawings in the park were a bit challenging. i have been taking figure drawing classes this summer, so the transition from people to actual objects has been a struggle this week, but hopefully it will get better. 

on another note, dani, erica, and i took some prrreeetttyy funny pictures in the gardens so i'm about to post them. oh and dani and i just got back from the incubus concert at radio city music hall. it was amazing:) i hope tomorrow is just as wonderful as the past few days have been.
