day 2! TUESDAY.

i knew i'd die if i didn't wear shorts this time around! 

my jaw dropped when i looked at the brooklyn bridge this morning at ten and was told that it would be a ideal subject to draw! i attempted. providence park provides wonderful views of both brooklyn bridge and manhattan bridge. lots of families eat and leisure in the park. we even saw a nude man sun bathing (lol)! for lunch we went to grimaldi's which was voted number one pizzeria in new york city. really good..i recommend it to anyone who will be visiting. My favorite part of the day was exploring brooklyn's botanic garden. i have never seen so many flowers in my life. the lily pads were a must to draw. i spent about an hour with them and then made my way to the rose garden. my best drawings so far have come from the botanic garden. i prefer this atmosphere to draw in rather than architecture aka bridges haha. by the end of the day i felt i was starting to get the hang of drawing again. 

tonight i am tired! i think i will grab dinner in brooklyn with some of the girls. im having a really great time and im so thankful i have this opportunity!
