Brooklyn Promenade

After getting off the airplane yesterday, I took a walk around the neighborhood. Two or three blocks from our housing is the Brooklyn Promenade. It has stunning views of the Brooklyn Bridge and lower Manhattan.

My name is Vanessa and I'm a senior Art and Psychology major. I I'm very excited about the Draw New York class! I love New York City and have actually been interning here this summer at an art gallery. The Museums and Art galleries here at amazing and I'm looking forward to getting to visit them and draw on site. Hopefully this will be a great class and I can't wait to meet everyone!

so my post is really late... the rush of everything the past few days has been unbelievable for me; so it's weird but I'm actually getting to rest now that I'm in NY. Finally! 

I'm erica and I haven't been to the city in almost a decade-I couldn't be more excited. I LOVE good food and shopping and meeting people so I think this trip should be a blast. See you guys soon!

I just graduated in May with my degree in marketing communications, but I am sticking it out one more year to get my art studio minor with an emphasis in graphic design. Hi everyone! I am Catherine Cartwright! I am from Memphis, TN and next year I will be a senior, even though I am not sure if I will be finished to graduate in May! I am really excited about this class and getting to know everyone since I only know a couple of you! I have a wide range of interests so I cannot wait to get to NYC and explore everything! I am actually an Art History major, so some of you studio art majors will have to help me out with my compositions!

I am looking forward to getting to know more people and broadening my horizons! I am also very excited to be submerged into the wonderful culture of NYC...I have never taken an art class in such an influential city and I am excited to see the work that we all produce there. Mainly I hope to come back home with a great experience, different points of view and of course with better drawing skills.
